Good hunt. I lived nearby which made the hunt a little more flexable. I helped scout and got to know the ranch. We usually saw 10-25 pronghorn per day without moving around much to leave them undisturbed. Wes and his guides helped set up blinds and recommended areas to hunt on the ranch. I actually missed a nice buck on the second day due to my bow limb hitting the blind as I shot. I had about 12-15 different pronghorn come to water over the course of the hunt. I was very pleased with the hunt before I shot my goat on borrowed time at the end.

It was a very wet summer in Colorado. It dried up a bit before the first weekend I hunted. It rained intermittently over the course of the season. There was quite a bit of water holes on the ranch for livestock which spread the goats out, but was manageable.
