I did High Ridge's "jamboree" hunt. It was NEVER conveyed to met that it was a 70% success rate (or so they say.. there was 3 of us and no one got an animal).. I was under the impression that it was 100% success. The animals were small and/or scraggly. They stated at the beginning of the hunt that you could not shoot until you heard the gun go off. I had several boars, a pack of rams and a cow elk (fair game for the jamboree) walk with in 30 yards of my stand.. but I played by the rules and did not shoot. Others all around me were shooting from the moment they saw animals. I was thinking they would be stripped of their animal for shooting early, but no. So basically I got screwed for playing by the rules. The "lodge" is a shack and the entire experiance was a joke. I would never hunt there again.
