Hunter Comments
I recommend this outfitter

My son and I hunted with Leab in April, 2011. What a great experience we had with Ingwe Safaris. I was successful on Greater Kudu (SCI Silver Medal), Gemsbok (Gold Medal), Impala (Silver Medal), Blesbuck (Gold Medal), and Springbok (Silver Medal) in the first 2 days. Leab put us on some great animals! I also wanted to hunt a trophy Waterbuck. We hunted hard for 3 days for a 28" or better Waterbuck and in the waning minutes of the last day, finally located a 28" bull that scored 74-2/8 (Silver). I had passed on several fine, but lesser, bulls in the preceeding days and I never felt pushed to shoot. My son also shot 5 fine animals, his first hunting experience ever. He’s hooked and I thank the guys at Ingwe for making his first hunt everything I hoped it would be. Leab and Preor are hard working, blue collar guys who really wanted to make sure we got what we wanted.

Logistics are tough but typical for remote African hunting. Flight into J’berg, overnight then flight to Kimberly, then 2 hours by truck on paved roads to Ingwe’s camp. Most of the hunting was done on 50,000 acres of unfenced, free range bushveld. Only downside to that was the 1 hour drive each way everyday. That was kind of a drag but the game was so plentiful and exceptional it was clearly worth it.

Camp will hold around 10 people, I think, We had a big group of hunters from Austria that partially overlapped with us but we never felt crowded (50,000 acres is a lot of land). Food was cold cereal for breakfast, sack lunches and great and plentiful dinners. Leab grilled game several times and his wife is an amazing cook.

I will absolutely hunt with Leab again and would unreservedly recommend him to anyone.
