When I discussed my issues with the outfitter, his comments were that he has never lost in court and he would sue me for slander if I shared my experience.
In my opinion, if an outfitter can't give you real success rates, look elsewhere. Basing success on potential "shot opportunities" is quite misleading.
Maybe some of their camps in other states are ok, but I would not recommend the IL hunt...even if it was for free.

This entry is not only totally false but to tell you the truth most reviews are. Whether they be positive or negative. I have been in the Outfitting business full time for 13 year, am on 34 Pro Staffs in the hunt industry, hold multiple college degrees, and have harvested 17 record book bucks. I watch outfitters go into chatrooms and forums under different user names and post a bunch of great stuff, meanwhile the user never knows the good reviews are from the outfitter himself. I have also watched outfitters go post bad reviews on the outfittters they are in competition with to try and prevent clients from attending a hunt with their competition. THE TRUTH IS WEBSITES SUCH AS THESE JUST WANT YOU TO WRITE A REVIEW TO PROVIDE CONTENT FOR THEIR WEBSITE. IT'S LIKE A GOSSIP FORUM. THE WEBSITE DOESN'T CARE IF YOU ARE BEING HONEST OR NOT. The truth is if any hunter has a bad hunt he should speak to the outfitter to resolve the issues. This man never contacted me and is also dishonest with his review. Had he contacted me I would have worked it out. For I am a Christian Man first and a Business Man second. I have never refused to work with someone if they had a bad hunt. Websites like these should be banned. For you don't know if the user is "real" and has been on a hunt here or not. I just had to have a bunch of FAKE reveiws taken off HuntInfo.Com. IMB has won more awards than any other outfitter in the Country, been in business for 13 years full times, and is supported by 34 major hunt companies in the nation. That is the results of hard work and good camp. Moral of the Story: Just because its on the internet doesn't mean its true. Somebody needs to sue website like this and someday it may happen. I would not only ask this be removed (which they probably won't because they want content) but if forced I will follow up with legal counsel. Notice your larger whitetail specialty clubs and magazines do not have these forums to solicatate hunt reveiws. Anyone can get on and say anything they like and websites like these will post it irregardless.
The first two days were perfect. Cool with a light breeze. The last two days were fairly windy, but nothing that would keep me from hunting or from thinking that the deer wouldn't move.
