Montana Whitetails has several leases in which the Merriam's Turkey are quite established! I put in for a difficult to draw fall turkey tag in Park County, Montana and was lucky enough to draw one. Upon arrival in camp on the 24th around 2pm, Keith suggested we go after some Gobblers that he was watching on one of the leases. On the way to the lease, we located a flock of hens and younger birds on a bow only lease, Keith suggested we go after the gobblers as he did not want any shotgunshots on that lease. 10 minutes later, we located 4 longbeards and set up, a couple of set up's later, I had a beautiful Merriam's gobbler, within 2 hours after arriving at camp! Through the week, we saw numerous turkeys scattered throughout the diiferent leases. Anyone drawing a hard to get Park County spring or fall tag and looking for a place to bowhunt turkeys, I highly recommend Montana Whitetails as it as truly an incredible hunting operation!
