Monatan Whitetails runs a top notch hunting service, although bowhunting whitetails is their main forte, we took advantage of their limited rifle hunt. This is my second trip there and I will definitely go back! On my first trip, I took a beautiful 5X5 Muley with a very memorable hunt that my wife had filmed along with a friend Karl, taking a 8X7 Muley in 2006! Karl and I returned along with 4 other friends in which we took 6 Muleys total! Mine was a gorgeous very wide 5X4 along with a Muley Doe! I highly recommend purchasing antlerless tags as deer are everywhere ( both Whitetails and Muleys) and it is not uncommon to see 300 to 400 deer a day! Game is very plentiful on all his leases! We harvested 6 Muleys, 4 Antelope, 1 6X6 Elk and a Merriams Gobbler! Check additional listings on this website regarding them. Can't forget the upland bird hunting ( Hungarian Partridge that were very plentiful!) and fishing we took advantage of! Truly a remarkable operation and I can't wait to go back!
