a price was discussed and agreed upon, $495 for a hog under 200lbs and $550 for a hog between 250-300lbs. Once the hogs were dead the guides stated that all but 2 out of our 8 hogs were over 250 and we got charged the higher price. HIGH RIDGE did not have a scale at thier property to weight the hogs though!!! once at the butchers, we discovered that our HEAVIEST hog only weight 157 lbs dressed!! And we shot the biggest hogs that were there, where were the 300lbs hogs??
When we called Fred Kaminsky the night of the hunt, he stated that his prices had gone up so thats why we got charged more, but had no answer as to why he had no hogs on his propoerty that were even close to 250lbs DONT GO TO HIGH RIDGE HUNTING PRESERVE in Somerset Co PA
