I have hunted with and without an outfitter for most North American species. I can honestly say that Western Illinois Trophy Outfitters owned and run by Aaron Milliken is TOP NOTCH. The clean and comfortable accommodations are the perfect setting for a great vacation. Aaron’s people are some of the most knowledgeable, friendly and fun people I have had the pleasure to hunt with. Hundreds of safe and quite tree stands allowing WITO to put you in the right place every day based on wind and conditions. Something else I noticed and think is incredibly valuable. Aaron goes above and beyond to ensure he has a good mix of clients. As important are the tactical things, tree stands, beds, guides and so on, so is the group of people you are going to spend every early morning and evening with during your week. Placing emphasis on having the right people helps ensure a good overall experience. I appreciate it.

How great was our week in November? Well, I went back in December for another week, had a BLAST!! And I am signed up for early November in 2011. I don’t see why I won’t be hunting with Aaron and the WITO crew for many years to come. GREAT TIMES!!
