I met mike a couple of years earlier at harrisburg. He was very pleasant to talk to and get along with. Over the next couple of years we got to be friends. He invited me out to help around camp and do a little hunting and have fun. We seen a lot of elk along with some very nice blacktails. How about them apples.The weather was plesant and the accomnadations where ok , remember you are in elk camp. Mike is very good to the hunters and will take care of his or her needs. I would say go on this hunt unless but remember this is a stand hunt or self guidd no calling or stalking while being guided or you want the lodge style hunt then i would say no.Good luck Mike and Joe
Glad you had a good hunt and hope to see you in camp again one day Aaron. While success can be high from the private land stand hunts you are correct that it may not quench a guys thirst for calling and stalking. Maybe next time you can do the semi guided hunt and try your luck with that style of hunting while saving a few bucks at the same time. Also if you're interested I have some other options for accomodations over near the west side properties. It's a nice guest house set up sitting on a heck of a property with 3 different herds in and around the area. Spotless and complete with sat tv.
