2009 was a tough year with the hot weather significantly changing the rut. We hunted hard for ten days without a chance at a legal bull, although one within bow range was probably over 50 inches wide(not enough points). Camp was in good shape and having an extra person in camp to handle cooking/chores let me and Corey concentrate on hunting. All in all a good trip that I would like to do again.
Thank you Lance , we would love to host your hunt again. Cory really enjoyed guiding you and I know he would jump at the chance to guide you again and as with all bowhunters , seeing as you were not successful there will be no trophy fee , and the next hunt will be discounted for you . Thank you for acknowledging the hiring of a cook for your hunt , it is one of the many things that we try to do to make our hunts more enjoyable. It does allow the guide to focus on one thing and that is hunting . See you soon !
