Kiskimaastakin Camp

Outstanding outfitter that I would recommend to anyone. Beautiful camp which is modern, well maintained and very clean. The outfitter was kind enough to postpone our 2009 hunt to 2010 because of very unusual weather and migrations in 2009. I saw thousands of animals and filled both tags easily. The camp was equipped with a heated skinning shed with chain hoists and all necessary tools. The staff were excellent and the manager Paul made sure that everyone was on caribou and offered for a guide(free)to get everyone to the herd when they moved away from camp. The guides seemed to be very hardworking and friendly and snowmachines were clearly well maintained. I can not say enough about the food both in quantity and quality. I went on a later hunt looking for more certainty as far as snow and ice conditions to travel to the herd if necessary knowing that many bulls would have shed. I shot a very nice bull and missed a giant, though many had already shed. I will be back.
None to date. If you are the outfitter please email us.
Rain on day one and above freezing, just below freezing days 2 and 3. Weather did not change caribou movement but made hunting miserable when you are prepared for cold.
