This was my first ever Elk hunt. I am an avid bowhunter, but have only hunted whitetails in the past. I usually go on 2-3 guided hunts per year for deer and I have had experiences with many different outfitters. I can tell you that Vinny is one of the best I have ever hunted with. I was unsuccessful in killing and elk due to conditions beyond their control, but we saw tons of elk and had several very close. It was a simple case of Murphy's law and bad luck. Vinny's guides are the most impressive part of his operation. I had two guides, Ty and Guy, and they went above and beyond to do everything in their power to make my hunt successful. They were also very accomodating around the camp in anything that I needed. The accomodations were great as we stayed at Brackett Creek Inn, and the hosts, Scott and Annette are great hosts as well. I am from Louisiana and had no idea what to expect in Elk country, but I can tell you that this group made me feel right at home. I will definantly be going back next year and would highly reccomend Montana Hunt and Fish Company to anyone.
