Did Weather Affect your Hunt?
Yes - Windy Conditions

Weather Comments:
we had a TON of wind, and a good amount of rain. i really think the wind and the full moon killed us on moose.

just got back from a moose/bear hunt with watsons kaby lodge in ontario. although i didnt harvest an animal, this was by far one of the best trips i have EVER been on. moose was the main animal we hunted, and although we didnt see a ton of em, we were on fresh sign every time out. looking at tracks showed a good number of moose in the area, we just couldnt catch em out of the brush. the weather wasnt great either, high winds and a bit of rain. just a lot of bad luck overall on the moose hunting. we had cows intercept bulls coming to calls, wind switches killing us, fog got us once, and so on and so forth. many times we felt it was coming together, only to have something else come up. bears were also being hunted. they had numerous active baits for me, and i did see a good number of bears. almost had a shot at a monster bear my first night, but he wouldnt quite turn broadside, just not a good angle for me and my recurve.

overall, this trip was great though, and i will go back for another try, i cant think of a better opportunity at a big moose at such reasonable prices, and none with harder working guides. thanks tom and michel, i had a blast.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS OUTFITTER
