I do not recommend this outfitter

Sherman Creek Outfitters is a very poor outfitter/guide. Two guides and two helpers in camp for 12 hunters. Stand hunting done on about 110 acres of land, with about 9 permanent stands that have been overhunted for many years. Owner cheated 4 hunters out of money spent for an extra day of hunting after the season was closed and would not refund their money for the extra day. Guides that were present were inexperienced and not familiar with the area, althought one fellow from the Seattle area who was in the military was very nice and helpful person. The food that was served was poor and prepared in very unsanitary conditions, dogs and puppies peeing and crapping on the kitchen floor while food prepared. House where food was served smelled awful because of dogs and owner also raises reptiles (big snakes and lizards) in a room of the house. I left on the forth day of my five day hunt, at least 4 other hunters left the same day, no game had been taken and most hunters had a combo tag for elk, deer, bear and cougar. If you want to waste your money and not see any game, this is the place to go. Only positive of the hunt is that I met some nice and interesting hunters at the camp.
