Overall I would have to say Pete runs a great operation. The lodging, food, boats and other equipment was excellent. His main focus is on fishing and that was also top notch. The bear hunting was O.K. I was the only one that killed one in are group of 3. We had multiple spots to choose from but only a couple of them seemed to be very active. In all fairness my one partner did see one huge bear and passed on some opportunities at small bears. My other partner only went out once as he was more into the fishing. Also at the time, the cost of hunting bears was probably only a couple hundred dollars more then if you were just staying there to fish. Skinning of game was not included and I ended up having to put the hide in a cardboard box. In summary I would say if you are looking for a bear hunt at a very reasonable price and want to see some beautiful scenery this is the place. If you want a hard core bear hunting outfit it is probably not going to live up to your expectations.
