I had the opportunity to preview the ranch prior to Maurice's operation actually starting and was impressed with the number and quality of big game we viewed. The reported hunt was self guided and a great value.

Maurice's operation is first rate and beginning in 2010 the operation will be focused on the 20,000 + acre Fountain Creek Ranch , which has been hunted by a few family members and friends, but has never been open to any public hunting. The ranch boasts a healthy population of Pronghorn Antelope, mule deer,whitetail and the occasional herd of elk.

Maurice offers guided hunts or self guided hunts and due to the proximity to Colorado Springs, accommodations are easily available. Lodging is also available on the ranch as part of the packages offered.

This year would be an excellent time for Bow Hunters to get in on an opportunity to be the "first hunters" on this pristine ranch just south of Colorado Springs with approximately a mile of frontage on Fountain Creek.

The Landowner may have a few Landowner Vouchers available this year.
