I had the pleasure of taking my 31st black bear with a bow along with outfitter Lloyd Gates. At first I was apprehensive being it was New Brunswick. I wanted an inexpensive fun hunt, something I could drive to under 9 hours. I have been on numerous Alberta hunts, and just wasn't into paying 4 or 5 grand, after flight, car rental, hunt, hotel etc.. So you can say I was surprised with Lloyds operation. I saw 13 different bears on my hunt. One was a monster with 6 inch pads. Never got a shot at him, nonetheless I am quite proud of my bear which weighed 351 pound had a 18 + scull, and true squared at 6'5" . I couldn't have done it with Lloyd Gates and his team of professionals

Having Mark in camp was a pleasure. This being his 31st bear taken with a bow. We seen lots of bears. Mark had a great hunt. He got a great bear. It would be a great pleasure to hunt with him again. Look forward to the next hunt.
