Being from Alabama my expectations of hunting the midwest were high to say the least. After 3.5 days on stand and seeing more than 20 racked bucks including two 10 points one morning on a CRP field that were pushing 160 this trip went far beyond anything that i could have hoped for. These guys worked as hard as they could to not just make sure we were taken care of but to make sure we had the best possible chance of harvesting a monster buck. On the forth day of the hunt I was lucky enough to harvest a 140 inch 11 point the biggest of my life. Without question and even if we would not have killed a deer we will be going back to Backwoods Outfitters again in 2010. The hunting was awesome but the best part was it was like hunting with your buddies back home and not just an outfitter.

I would say it was a little warm for that time of year but the deer did not seem to mind to much.
