First off the food was "great" every night we come in. I also had very good hunt given the weather, which was very windy and rained everyday on us. The outfitter in very good about hunting wind and keeping scent free. The first morning I had a buck breed a doe less then 40 yards from me and then walk down wind of me less then 10 yards. He would have been a about 130 class animal, but had two points broke off. This experience just showed that these deer had very little hunting pressure on them. Then 30 mins. later I saw the biggest deer I have ever seen in the woods and I have killed a 185 2/8 class deer before. This deer was bigger and luck would have it he walked out over 80 yards behind me and was right behind a hot doe. The last day of my hunt I was able to shoot a 10 point in the 140 to 150 class, but was unable to find him and still don't know how the deer lived after losing that much blood. This was the point I was most impressed with this outfitter and why I will be back next year. The outfitter and staff hunted for my deer just like it was there own deer and I was the one called a end to the search they was still trying. On a final note I seen lots of turkey on my five day hunt.
