I had a great experience with Dean and Moose Valley Outfitters. Dean was waiting for me upon my arrival at the airport. The hunt was well organized. Meals were very good. The guides were great and worked very hard for us.

High winds and rain made hunting very difficult. I saw a total of 10 moose throughout the week and did have one opportunity at a medium-sized bull at 300 yards. The only other bulls I saw were: a spike at 20 yards, a spike at 60 yards, a glimpse of a medium-sized bull crossing a small clearing at 450 yards, a large bull in timber at about 1500 yards and a huge bull we jumped while making our way through the timber.

Despite the weather, we hunted very hard and had a great experience. I am booked again with Moose Valley in October, 2010.
