This was my third Spring Bear Hunt to New Brunswick and our first with Mark deJong and will be in Mark's camp again this year. He is, without doubt the hardest working guide/outfitter I've met in 12 years of bowhunting. Everyone in camp saw bears every night of our hunt. I took a huge V-blazed Boar on our 4th hunt that dressed at over 300#.
I spent our last two nights in camp helping run baits while others hunted or fished in the St. John River. Every bait we visted was very active with bear sign. Stands were well maintained and very safe.
