This was truly an adventure! I hunted with a bow the first four days of this six day hunt then borrowed a rifle to hunt a bait that was getting hit hard in the morning that was set up for a gun hunter (I don't think I would have gotten very much penetration at 100 yards). The weather was very cold for June and the bears were just starting to hit the baits, but most bears probably hadn't passed their plugs. This hunt was only time I have ever seen snow in June and one of the few times for the outfitter as well. Everyone worked very hard for us to get bears. Only one hunter of the three didn't get a bear and that is because he was waiting for a blonde (he passed a solid 18.5 incher).
None to date. If you are the outfitter please email us.
Snow in June? One hell of an adventure.
