I had a very nice hunt with some very good people. I only hunted 4 days before I got a chance at a great animal and decided to use my guides rifle. I saw two other bulls on day two in bow range but they did not meet three brow tines or ten point rule. One of these bulls was 50 plus inch monster I would love to have taken. I also saw some nice black bears but passesd as I did not have funds for a second trophy fee. I would recommend these folks for a moose hunt anyday. They worked very hard to show me a good moose as well as the other hunters in camp. More importantly they were a very nice group of people to spend time with. I can also testify that they know how to load a giant moose whole into a quad trailer! I got to meet most of their guides which are mostly family and all were very hard working to show clients a good time and some nice moose.
Thank you for the nice comments Thainon , they are appreciated very much . Thainon was a great guy to hunt with and helped out around camp and at the lodge after he killed this very good bull . The weather was not great for sure to start with , but it did cool off and some real good bulls were taken . We certainly enjoyed having Thainon hunt and stay with us , and he is welcome back anytime . A very fine hunter and person all around . It was warm at the start of my hunt but it got colder and rut really heated up. Guys in camp that still had tags towards end of week really started to see some good activity.
