I do not recommend this outfitter

Since this was my 1st hunt using an outfitter I really wasn't sure what to expect. I've bowhunted since I was 12, which was the legal age to start at home but I'm no self-proclaimed expert. I've hunted other states but always self guided so I'm not new to that. There we're a few things that could have been improved upon like stand placement. I saw 22 deer in 5 days and 9 were bucks, 2 were shooters but the stands were too far from their runs for a shot,(50 yds and 58 yds). The properties that I saw were very good but my hunting partner saw NO deer until the 3rd day of his hunt. The accomodations were dirty. We had dead mice lying in the cupboards which made the place STINK and my buddy had mice crawling over him at night in his bunk. The food was not the best but we were there to hunt so we didn't gripe even though it gave some of us the trots. But what I disliked the most was that our guide was inconsistent in what he would tell us. You never knew what to believe. He'd tell us we'll hunt here or there tomorrow and then take us elsewhere. When we set a time to be picked up in the A.M. he would be 1/2 hr. to 45 min. late and didn't even show up on the last day of my hunt so I would walk the 1 or 2 miles to the stand. Again, I didn't complain since, thank God, at 54 I'm still in pretty good shape. But I think the clincher was that on the 4th day of my hunt, out of the blue he tells us we have to vacate the premises by noon on the last day of out hunt to allow other hunters to bring in their gear. We would be allowed to shower and eat but we had to be out. That meant walking out the 1 or 2 miles back to camp to pack up when we should have been hunting. Mike never showed himself at the camp again but we did speak to Brian and voice our grievences that last day. I'm not alone in my opinion here either. All 5 of us felt nearly the same. Sorry Mike, but that's the truth.
