The areas we were hunting were destroyed by the Ice Storms of 2008. We were hunting over small piles of corn thrown randomly in the woods. their natural habitat had been destroyed yet the outfitter (David Whitaker) decided to charge clients to hunt these properties. He advertised he had over 3200 acres to hunt, I only saw 100 of it. We kept rotating stands, i would hunt a stand that someone else had just left, this went on for the first 2 days. I ended up seeing over a three day period in the middle of the KY RUT 1 small doe. The outfitter was not knowledgeable of the deer in his area. I was very disappointed that I had to pay that amount of money to see 1 small doe, this was supposed to be a hunt of a lifetime, i saved for 2 years to hunt with this outfitter, and now I feel Iwas screwed! Thanks Dave for ruining my dream. I will ook next time with a competent Outfitter that actually knows what he is doing!
