The hunt and outfitter was as advertised. The weather was a little warm, but bucks were starting to chase. As with other Illinois or Kansas hunts there was not a large amount of deer seen. There is definitely some large deer in this area. Stand placement is tough when there is so much standing corn. Corn came down on the 4th day and that seemed to concentrate the does. Great group of people to be around on a hunt. Totally attempted to get you close to deer, and provide an excellent camp situation. As with any free ranging hunt luck plays a big role getting archery close to good bucks, and this hunt is no exception.
