As a new hunter, I had no idea what to expect from my trip. When I say that I'm a new hunter...I'm not kidding. This is the first hunting I've done since the few times my father took me 30 years ago as a young child! I cannot say enough positive things about the staff at The Shed. Their guides worked very hard to make sure my first foray into hunting was a positive experience. My first day on the stand I saw 6 deer total. I quit counting deer after a few days at 16. I had an AMAZING hunt. My second day I killed my first animal ever, a buck, with a bow. I don't know who was happier...me or the staff. Does it get any better than that? The camaraderie, the accommodations, the staff, the personal attention. I can only hope that my next experience with an outfitter will be as wonderful as this one. I will DEFINITELY be making another trip to The Shed in the future.

Our first evening our hunt was delayed due to weather conditions. The rest of the hunt weather was not a factor.
