I hunted with Chris and Todd from 11/13 to 11/17. Weather was hot for most of the hunt. It actually got up to 71 on the third day. Even with the hot weather we still saw a ton of deer. I passed up a few bucks on the first day that probably would have made the 125 min. and on the third day I passed on a mid 130's buck @ 30 yds.(see attached picture). This was my second year with R2R, I've really enjoyed both trips. I've seen some true monsters (160's to 180's) while in the stand (out of range) and driving around to property, but haven't been able to connect with one yet. All in all these guys have some great land and great deer to hunt.
About Trophy care!! I've never seen anyone bone out a deer as fast as Chris! That dude knows what he's doing with a knife.

temps for the week were lows in the 50's and highs in the mid 60's. The warmest day was 71. We also had two days of rain on the 16th and 17th. Overall bad conditions, buth what can you do... just hunt!
