I just returned from my forth trip with Hawk outfitters. This was my second trip to Missouri and I have been with Hawk twice before in Iowa. I have used a bow and firearms on these hunts. As always Scott Hawk and the staff were top notch. I scored a nice buck. That makes me 3 for 4. One year I missed a giant as my arrow just shaved the hair on it’s back. Oh so close. The other years I have killed 130 -150 inch bucks. Hawk Outfitter provides excellent land and manages stand placement to insure you will be in the best possible location. This management is ongoing so you’re not sitting in a stand that has been in the same spot for years. The land is not over hunted as Hawk has a good amount of acreage all under long term leases. While hunters are on stand Scott scouts all of his properties to check on deer movement. Then he can make stand recommendations/selections for the next day based on fact not what ifs. The accommodations are comfortable, clean and some of the best home style cooking you ever had. Plus he does not over book hunters as do so may other money hungry outfitters. Scott Hawk is truly a Hunters outfitter.
JOHN STEPIEN HAS BEEN WITH US A NUMBER OF YEARS AND IS A VALUED FRIEND.....HE IS A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY CAMP....HE HAS CONNECTED EVERY YEAR WITH GUNS BUT ONE WITH A CLOSE MISS WITH BOW....I USE HIS METHOD OF HUNTING AS A LEARNING TOOL FOR OTHERS....IF I PUT JOHN IN A STAND HE TRUSTS THAT I KNOW WHAT I AM DOING AND WILL SIT THERE UNTIL HE KILLS.....HIS PASSION FOR THIS GAME IS UNMATCHED.....GREAT HUNTER AND INDIVIDUAL....I EXPECT HIM BACK EVERY YEAR AND MAYBE THIS COMING SEASON HE IS BRINGING HIS WIFE.....THANKS A MILLION......HAWK
