This hunting trip has made me weary of using another outfitter. Upon arrival my hunting partner and I found drastic inconcistancies with the number of deer taken on the "private farm" we were to hunt. The size and number were less from what Ryan Arnold told us than what Kevin Montgomery stated as we drove to the farm. Upon arrival to the farm via Kevin, we were told not to interact with the land owner for the fact that he was a paculur old man. We looked at the farm from the winshield of Kevin's truck and left shortly. My hunting partner and I arrived back to the farm after kevin dropped us to view any deer that may be seen. While we watched for deer the land owner encounterd us as we sat in his drive. After a few spoken words we were began to find that he was not a paculur old man but of alot of insite. He told of other hunters from three other states hunting his property prior to my hunt.As of two days before. My hunt was advertised as a unhunted property. The stands were flagged but the well worn trail by the previous hunters to them were adequte enough. Once in the stand I found that the property was very small. No food plots were present as advertised other that the cut corn fields that were on the property. No deer were seen that day but I did see another hunter watching me while I hunted. Phone call was made to Kevin to inquire. Kevin told us of another hunter was having trouble on another farm they leased so they put him on this property prior to our arrival. Next day was the same no deer and after figuring the property my partner and i found that we could hunt together and see the whole area`. We talked to Kevin and he stated we talk to Ryan, who told us that Kevin was taking care of us and he would solve it. Kevin stated that he would give us back one thousand dollars each of our money,and we could hunt the last day. We decided to not hunt and retrive a climbing stand we brought and then phone them back to arrange a meet. After numourus attempts to call Ryan, he would not answer, Kevin did answer and stated that we had made Ryan mad and that he wasnt going to reimburse anything. Kevin stated that he understood the inconsistant statments and would at least reimbeurs the deposit.We did recive the deposit back from Kevin shortly after returning home. The facts are simple, the propety was advertised to be unhunted, with multiple high scoring deer in the past, to be found that this was the first year they leased the land and it was hunted all season proir to our hunt. The size of the racks were exaggerated that other hunters they had on the farm had taken. We are experienced deer hunters and know that nothing guaranteed in hunting, but when we pay hard earned money and then lied to on the hunt and operation we feel that its a waste of time and money. Do not book with Ryan Arnold. STAY CLEAR!!!!!!!!!
