Jan Kleynhans, his wife Hettie and their sons were outstanding hosts to my 16 yr old son and me. It was our first hunting trip to Africa, and we were treated royally. The many blinds are exceptionally well placed and disguised. The trackers were phenomenal, and the skinners perfect. We had numerous shooting opportunities, and all seven animals we shot were recovered. Frankly, I am usually skeptical about webpages, but everything on theirs is correct, if not understated. In reading it, I can't find anything that I disagree with. Maybe the only thing you can't appreciate until you're there is what nice people they really are, and what competent bowhunters Jan and his son Andri are. They know bowhunting - it's what they do and they do it well. I have bowhunted in several places in the continental US and Hawaii, so I have seen other operations. There is nothing I would have wanted Jan to have done differently, and I can give Tusker Safari's an unqualified thumbs up, even it it's your first trip to Africa. You won't be disappointed.
It was a real privilage to host them . They were no trouble at all , and we would like to have them back sooner rather than later .

It's winter there, and there had been a bit more rain early in the year, so some of the trees and bushes were more leafed out than unusual. Bring a jacket!
