Cold Brook Hunts

This is a decent off season getaway for Northeast hogs, it was my second hunt there, and although I feel things could be updated and improved upon such as camp, equipment, stands, hunting area roads, etc. Everything was satisfactory...they have put some money into the game prep and butchering area, the new building there is a good step forward.
The guide was a decent sort and you couldn't really dislike him, a few comments within the first hours of the hunt asking if we had rifles with us, put my friends off a bit, ....but in general it was a fun time with the group in camp, we couldn't help but have a good time.
I will probably shop around a bit for the next hog hunt, but this isn't a bad place to go...

Snow squalls and cold in the morning with a front going thru, but 65 degrees and sunny afternoon. Weather did not affect anything.
