Met John at the Philadelphia Sport show on Jan of 07. Took a liking to his down to earth attitude right away. After some talking I booked a camp of 3 plus me. The trip in was awsome! 30+ miles on a snow groomer over a 8000' mountian pass. It was starting to snow when we got there but no big deal. Still had time that night to hunt so we rushed right out to sit that night. Big mistake. I didn't shoot before I went out and wound up missing a beautiful BLOND bear at 60 yards. Turns out somewhere in transit my scope was damaged and was off by over 2 feet at 50 yards. Oh well only first day. Turns out that would be the first of only 2 oppertunities that week. No falt of the outfitters. It proceeded to snow for the entire trip. Never saw so much snow. On the last day the snow stopped and in the last hour one guy shot a awsome 300lb black bear. On the way home John said we had the all time worst weather ever in bear camp. Even we all didn't get a bear it was one of the funnest trips I have ever been on.
