We were hunting for the elusive Coues Deer
Pat Feldt's operation is top notch. We saw plenty of animals despite very poor weather. It rained a couple of days and we had 20mph+ winds non-stop. I was able to make a stalk every day but was never able to beat the wind direction change.
I had a great time and have already given a verbal for another hunt the same time next year. I am also going to use Pat for an Antelope hunt in New Mexico.
If you book a hunt with Pat, be prepared to do some good hiking. He and his guides can set a fun pace to keep up with too!
Scott was a pleasure to have in camp on the archery coues hunt. The guide, Bryan, said he really enjoyed guiding him. Had a great personality. I hope to see him in the near future. Hopefully there will be less wind and no rain! Pat Feldt
The weather was terrible. It was very windy and the wind wouldn't stay consistent. It also rained two of the days I was there which put the deer down.
