This has been my third season to hunt with The Quail Shed. I continue to hunt with this outfitter cause over the last 3 years I've made some good friends as well as met an outfitter that tries to make it successful for you. Clifford had been seeing this buck along with a couple other bucks bumping does in a 150 acre corn field. We glassed the field the afternoon before the second gun season and went in the next day at noon and brushed in a ground blind. As if on cue the buck came out bumping does. The TC Prohunter made short work of the 140 yard shot.

As a client I know that alot of factors come into play to make a successful hunt. It takes both the outfitter, but also the hunter. And with a little luck, a trophy photo will follow. The Quail Shed is a small Illinois outfitter with big potential !!! Pistol Young BSBA Bowhunting Director
