Hunter Comments

I have had multiple hunts with Bar-H and I cannot imagine a better outfitter. Anyone who knows Jeanne and Randy know the quality of their operation. Most of the folks I have met in their camps have been with them many times. Repeat business tells you much about an outfitting operation. I have had the opportunity to hunt on three continents and have harvested 15 different big game species with a bow. Hunting with outfitters is something I have a great deal of experience with. I have hunted with some very good ones and some not so good ones. Bar-H is one of the best. Hunting with Traditional equipment adds a level of difficulty that some outfitters (quite frankly) do not want to have to deal with. Nothing could be further from the truth with Bar-H. Randy's brother Mark is also a tradional hunter (and bowyer) and they completely understand the challenge. The people at Bar-H are always friendly and Jeanne takes care of everything as far as the paperwork and tags...including preference points. I have hunted with them for elk -both guided and undguided. I have hunted with them for mule deer as well. I have been sucessul and sometimes not successful but it has never been due to lack of them trying to provide a great hunt with great service. I would be happy to talk to anyone considering a hunt Randy and Jeanne. If you are looking for a beautiful area with a good chance at success Bar H should be on your list.

He is in great shape for elk hunting, is an excellent shot with us bow, and brings high ethics to the sport of archery hunting. Archery season is our favorite time to be in the mountains to experience the elk bugling and everything else that goes with the rut! This will be our 11th year to professionally outfit the area we hunt and our archery hunters have enjoyed over 88% shot opportunity at legal elk.
