This was a tough bowhunt because it was early season on the plains. The date choice was mine, not the outfitters. The bucks were bedded up nearly all day. I did see a 150" buck mid-week and on the last day blew a stalk on a 170" class buck. Overall, we saw very few bucks and just the 2 shooters all week. Accomodations were in a local motel and the guides were responsible for buying some of our meals, which usually happened. I would rate the hunt as satisfactory because they were trying despite tough conditions and I did get my chance but didn't close the deal.
