I do not recommend this outfitter

Booking Agent Tony Ruggeri of Trophy Seekers Worldwide was the major problem of this hunt. He basically lied and oversold and misrepresented the hunt to make a sale, ie., "you will have a good opportunity to harvest a 150 - 180 class deer". None were seen, leases were small 300 acre sites only 5 total as opposed to 3000 acres, with heavy adjoing deer and pheasant hunting pressure. One lease even had tresspass issues!!. Head guide Joe Coates and owner Ben Plattner even refused no less than on three requests to show me their 2008 harvest log book! The night before our hunt I even asked head guide Joe Coates how many 150 or better deer had been harvested so far and his reply was "I don't know". Thend when I asked to see the log book the fiirst excuse was "I'ts at the camp" and then it was , "I don't have a key to the camp". Plattner later admitted that on the south camp of 30 - 35 hunters "maybe 3 - 5 " deer of 150 or better were taken. That's about 10 - 15% - a far cry from "a good opportunity to take a 150 - 180 class deer" Do not book a hunt in Illinois with Timberland Outfitters if you expect to go there and shoot a 150 or better deer! More importantly, do not ever book a hunt through Tony Ruggeri of Trophy Seekers Worldwide in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. He will lie to you and misrepresent the hunt in order to make a sale!!!!!!!
