I first booked with beavertail in 2007. This was my second successful year hunting with Josh and Laura. We are booked for 2009 and plan on booking again in 2010. I have hunted with guides for all kinds on animals all over the country and I can tell you this is a quality outfitter. They make every effort to insure a successful hunt. Josh is one of the finest trackers I have ever worked with in over 28 years of hunting. stand placement and quality are excellent. I wont hunt bear in MN with anyone else and strong recomend Beavertail Outdoors.

I have to correct Kevin Shiebert. I was there after he shot his bear. I was also there for the entire track. His bear was poorly hit. Unfortunatly that happens. We tracked the bear over 400 yards. It was a long slow track. There was very little blood and eventually no blood. There were 6 of us (all experienced trackers)working together doing everthing we could to recover his animal. We all had flashlights or headlamps. That bear is still going. I can certainly understand Kevins dissapointment but Josh provided the oppertunity to shoot a bear and did everything possible to recover it.
