website shows nice cabin and pond, we were housed in 3 tuff sheds, heat that quit in 21 degree temps,saw only 4 doe's in 3days of hard dawn to dark hunting,owners equiptment was broken down and NO corn in feeder's, owner got sick and we never saw him again, we left 2 days early, he did allow us to execute 2 small pigs in the high fence area, nice guy , terrible operation

I am very sorry that you had a bad experience at my ranch. My whole operation is based on honesty, and a fair hunt at a fair price. The cabin on my website is a much bigger cabin. The cabin you stayed in has electricity, hot shower, and satellite tv. You had your choice, and knew the options months ahead of time. As far as the heat going out? It works now and was working when you were here. I lit the heaters for you. I did get sick, I had pneumonia, but I called you every day to make sure everything was going ok, and see if you needed anything. Nothing was ever said about having any problems. As far as the hunting, I recommended that you hunt the box stands that I have set up. They have always been successful, but you wanted to do spot and stalk hunts. That may be the way to hunt the game you hunt in California, but is very difficult way to hunt Whitetail deer in N.E. Texas. Once again, I am very sorry that you had such a bad experience here. I wish I could have done something to make it better. If you ever are in Texas again, or would like to make another trip here, I will give you a free hunt of your choice, Deer,Turkey, Hog, or Ram, with meals and lodging included.
