Hunting with Bowmex outfitters is a hunt that should be enjoyed by every bowhunter. This is an archery only ranch. The hunt takes place on a working cattle ranch and the accomidations are somewhat primitive but not low class. the sleeping quarters are cinder block houses with tin roofs, AC, and running warm water for cleaning up. The food is a great combination of american and old mexico style entrees. The hunt consists of many opportunies to see and harvest game such as Whitetail deer, Javilinas, Hogs, Coyotes, Bobcats and even Rattlesnakes. Bowmex not only caters to the hunter, but it would be a great trip for a family that just enjoys the outdoor experience. I'm am not sure if there is a better place to bowhunt where one would have multiple opportunitie to harvest a pope and young whitetail almost everyday of a five day hunt. Perry and his staff are good and honest people and work hard to make every person's experience at Bowmex the top priority. As stated before... I believe that every bowhunter should expreience this hunt.

During the second full week of December we experienced temperatures ranging from 38 degrees in the morning to up to 89 degrees in the afternoon. We had a small wind storm one evening, but great weather the rest of the trip.
