Tim and his guides will work their butts off trying to get you on elk. We were all amazed at the work ethic of his guides. The food is great, the country is incredible, the ride in (20 some odd miles) is not for the timid. Be in very good shape. We regularly hiked 4-8 miles/day, up to 1700 ft elevation change. I believe camp is around 8300 ft. elevation, so get acclamated if you're from the coast. Never saw an elk. 1 of seven guys in camp got a shot. That was the only Bull encounter that week. I'm pretty sure the wolves have done a job on the herd. Saw or heard wolves every day. Overall, a great adventure, just wish there were more elk. I did a search on outfitter success on this unit and it really has died down past few years.
