This was a very enjoyable hunt. The caribou were widely scattered and not moving, but decent bulls were located and then with a carefully executed stalk, I was able to kill two nice bulls including one that made PY. The bugs were dreadful and the inuit guides varied from moderately helpful to less than helpful. My guide was probably the best in the bunch, he spoke good english and did not smoke. Overall, I would rate the hunt good.
Dave, our cook, was absolutely fantastic and made the trip extra special for all of us. Overall, a good hunt.
