I do not recommend this outfitter

Outfitter showed me the stand I would be hunting the night before 11:00 pm for the first days hunt. The outfitter did not have sleeping arangements in order until about 10:00 pm the day I arrived in camp. I arrived in camp at the time that he asked around 1:00 pm the day before the hunt. On the last day of the hunt I was taken to the stand before day left to hunt and go back to my vehicle that was left in walking distance of the stand . I left camp that last day I have not even recieved a phone call to ask what I saw or how the last day hunt went! I did see some quality deer and I passed on a 125 class 9pt on the second day of the three day hunt. But overall the outfitter did a poor job taking care of the hunters.I took a doe for the outfitter and gave the deer to camp , I had to clean the deer after I was asked to kill a doe .

Was the outfitter notified of problems? - NO

Outfitter's Response
Agree

Well sometimes you have to just admit when you were wrong... And, in this case, I will! Unfortunately, Mike came to the camp and I was absolutely overwhelmed because I was short of help at the time. And, to compound things, the person who should have been able to help me keep these things from happening, dropped the ball as well. However, I was misled about the way the hunt ended, and told that Mike had left happy when I asked where he was at the end of the day, and why he had left without me seeing him off. That situation has been taken care of now, and I have dependable help. I would expect any client who is not happy to let me know immediately. In this case, unfortunately, I probably should have been more proactive and followed up with a phone call.

I am the general manager now, and have hired a housekeeper, and a larger guide staff. This should remedy things... If you read this Mike, please accept my apologies.
