This hunt was a total disaster,White tail Heaven is not for bow hunters as this outfitter has no clue about bowhunting. We were placed in gun stands. 20 ft. platforms with a steel rail around them. Impossible to draw back the bow with out hitting the metal rail. The last day for me to hunt was when I was placed in a ladder stand on a live telephone pole in a four way intersection with no cover at all. A deer could see me at over 150 yds.I had to hunt on the ground as I had to the day before in the metal bar stand.This was a 5 day hunt. Both me & my hunting friend were placed in such stands. We left after 3 days. The outfitter claims deer were taken from these stands in the past.Who is he kidding.He advertised a high success rate. Only one deer was taken out of eleven hunters.He shows you these food plots, beans corn etc. but has a guide take you 40 miles away to a piece of leased land to hunt in a telephone pole. I hunted 5 stands & seen only 2 does at one stand where he placed a corn feeder at.After 2 days of poor hunting he said he was slacking & would take us out personaly. Well that never happened. He stuck us with Joe the ranch manager who took us out the day before & practicalty got us killed speeding over 60mph on back roads only to see him run one guy off the road. We refused to ride with him again. The stories can go on forever. All I can say is I have hunted for over 40 years & have never been treated like this. I have never made a bad report on any outfitter till now. Hunters beware of whitetail Hell!!!!!!!If any hunters want more info please feel free to call.

The week the guy is talking about was extremely hot with way above normal temperatures, and everybody that deer hunts knows heat shuts deer down. We still were able to have one guy harvest a 137" 10 point. We had one guy have a 190+ inch deer at 40 yards. We had one guy miss a 155 inch 11 pt. at 30 yards and had everybody re-book except this guy and his friend. Give us a call for names and numbers of everyone else in camp that week to see what Whitetail Heaven is really about because this guy is painting a picture thats as wrong as ever. Matter a fact we kill trophy bucks out of both the stands he complained about every season and they were ladder stands. The guy said he wouldnt hunt out of lock ons so we put him in ladders and he wouldnt hunt those saying they werent bow stands when we have killed tons of deer with bows out of those styles of stands and a few deer out of the exact setups.
