My first large game animal with a bow. This was my sixteenth trip with James, and my thirteenth hog. I have taken monster catfish, ducks, great hogs, and even a rattlesnake that was over five feet long with James and his guides. From the time you get there to the time you leave James, his wife Mary, and his guides treat you like royalty. I missed two hogs that morning and had missed my opportunity at a nice sow that evening and was ready to give up on my bow but James would not have it. He spoted my hog with a half hour of daylight left and we stalked up within twenty five yards. I hit him and claimed my first bow kill on a pig thanks to James not giving up on me. I have taken family and friends there and will recommend them to anyone who wants a great trip at a great price. The only bad thing about a trip there is having to leave. It is completely free range but crawling with hogs of all sizes and colors. The West family are great people and wonderful hosts and only hire guides that are the same.
