Ryan is a great guy that will work his butt off for you. On my trip the weather really messed up the rut activity and made for a hard hunt. Ryan had plenty of new locations to try with trophy quality animals, I just couldn’t connect with one. I saw several awesome bucks just before my hunt started and before a bad snow storm hit, and again on the last day. The deer were just returning to there normal patterns and the rut activity was starting again.

On the last day with the last few minutes of light I took a small buck not what I came to Manitoba for, but meet on the table! I almost shot a doe just before that but brush was blocking the vitals. Ryan has some great deer with great genetics; the young buck I shoot was quite big for the age.

I hope to be hunting with Ryan again soon this year or next. I know it was just a fluke weather that messed us up. The next week there were big bucks searching for does high and low I just missed it by a few days.
