I do not recommend this outfitter

This was the worst hunt I have ever been on. Kevin Faddis tells a good story, but he does not live up to his promises. He is so nice on the phone, you can not help but fall for his line.......There were 5 hunters in our group that filled complaints with the Colorado Outfitters Registration Office. After a 6 month investigation, they found in our favor and have put Dryside Outfitters on probation for code violations. Kevin Faddis signed and agreed to the findings. His admission and signiture was notorized. This is public information. We have filed suit against his bond and will be filliig a law suit for fraud and misrepresentation. See the review from Mike Passaglia for more details. Note that his guides were very nice and did the best job they could with the knowledge they had. I point this out because they tried, but had never seen the lease property we hunted prior to our arrival. What they found was the property that they were taking us on the Elk had not been on in a year, or better. Kevin Faddis took me on a walk where he gauranteed there were Elk. Not only did we not see any Elk after this 5 mile hike, there was not one sign of an Elk having been there. If he would have pre scouted like he said he would, he would have known that the Elk were not in this area. He claimed prior huge success in this area during riffle season. We were bow hunting! if Kevin would have told us that there were no Elk on his leases for what ever reason, we would have rescheduled, but he told us that we would see over 100 Elk per day. What a joke that was. During late riffle season, there just may be Elk here, but they were not where we were when we were there. Kevin had told us that he would refund half our money and we agreed to save from the hasle and the need to travel back to Colorado to file the law suit even though we felt all of our money should be refunded. He never sent us our refund and later said he could not afford to do so. Therefor, we submitted our complaints to the Colorado Department of Outfitters. They found in our favor and gave him the punishment they could. He did agree to the findings and signed his name agreeing to his violations. I am more than willing and will take him to court for 100% of my expenses.
