I hunted with my son, and had my brother along on the camera, and video. We spent four days in the Limpopo Province, and six in the Northwest Province. It was great hunting two different habitat types, and the diversity of the game was unreal. The accommodations, and food were unbeatable, and our hosts, the Taljaards, made us feel like part of the family.
In 9 hunting days, we had good representatives of the following species in close shooting range: Eland, Kudu, Waterbuck, Impala, Warthog, Blesbok, Gemsbok, Zebra, Ostrich, Nyala, Blue Wildebeest, Giraffe, Jackal, Duiker, Vervet Monkey, and Baboon.
We also saw Bushbuck, Black Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest, Springbuck, Steinbuck, White Rhino, African wild cat, Lion, Mongoose, Meerkat, and countless bird species.
It was a wonderful experience, and we took seven animals.
