Tom Klumker and his nephew Jerry Jump gave me a ten day horseback Arizona lion hunt that was second to none. We took it down to the wire but their persistence paid off. I was able to take a nice Tom in the last hour of the last day of the hunt. They never doubted it would happen all along. Their next client got an equally nice Tom from the same area in only two or three days of hunting. I'm glad my hunt lasted as long as it did because I got to enjoy it for all that much longer. It would have been a great hunt even if I hadn't shot a lion!
Jack was a pleasure to hunt with and hung in there to the end and scored on a nice Tom lion. Jack also took a nice javelina with his bow and we were going to try for Coues deer on the same hunt but spent all of our time lion hunting.
Dry land no snow.
